If you died in jail, would you have served your sentence?

What’s your take? A man in prison was serving a life sentence for committing a murder, but while in jail died and was brought back to life.  This man is now saying that his sentence has been served and that he should be released.

Here is a bit of the back story.  Benjamin Schreiber was charged with the brutal murder of John Dale Terry in 1996. It turns out that is was some twisted love triangle between Benjamin and Terry’s girlfriend, and the two plotted and killed John Terry.  Fast forward a bit, and Benjamin had been living out his time in prison when his body became septic. He was rushed to a hospital in March 2015. The doctors resuscitated Benjamin by giving him an IV of epinephrine.  April 2018  Benjamin filed for the courts to release him on the grounds that upon his death in 2015 he had served his time.

The courts aren’t buying it, and have pretty blatantly stated that he is still alive. Benjamin will not be released from custody until he is very assuredly dead.
